About Me

Hi, I’m Sara.

I’m just an ordinary girl trying to make some changes in my life.

I’m 26 years old, born in Korea, and raised in New Jersey.  I knew from the tender age of 5 that I was adopted but never once felt any different.

I like all things pretty and all things genuine (the former not being without the latter).

My interests include  baking, fashion, design, home-making, exercising, and cooking.  These are my interests but not necessarily my passions or things I’m actually good at.  My passions (and talents) I’m still unsure of.  I do, however, know that I like spending countless hours blog-reading, facebooking and pinning.  Is wasting time a talent?

I don’t have a huge interest in music.  When I’m doing my hum-drum things at home I put on an episode of Sex and the City rather than listening to my iTunes.  I think I know every line by now.  I’d like to consider myself most like Carrie (who doesnt?) but also with a mix of Charlotte.

I’ve been living in Korea for the past 3 years teaching English at a middle school.  It’s had its ups and downs but I’ve come to learn that teaching isn’t my thing.  Also kids, or teenagers rather, are also not my thing.  I have hopes to move back to the US and start pursuing something I truly enjoy.

Oh, I also have a dog.  Technically she’s still a pup.  She is a French Bulldog and her name is Nola.  She is a silly little thing and has a talent for being cute without even knowing it.  She lights up at the sound of food, and has the snoring capabilities of your father.

I hope you enjoy reading.  Thanks for stopping by!

Oh and one more thing.  Ironically, I’m an English teacher but do expect to see a lot of bad grammar!

Hi Sara, I’m a dog owner myself and I found your blog after I did a google search on dog parks in Korea. I’ve experienced the angry glares from strangers so I know how hard it is and I’ve been raising my dogs here for more than 4 years. I mean there are harmless and so small but people still scream at the sight of them.

I wanted to let you know, there’s a nice dog park at Deokpyeong Eco Service Area. It’s a ways from Seoul but it’s worth the visit 🙂
